Once your account is activated, Auto-Pilot detects incoming cases within minutes. It reads available prescription details—including restoration type, tooth numbers, and shade—and places the order using your saved defaults so production can begin.
You do not need to log in to alienmilling.com and manually place a new order for every connected scanner case.
For Dental Labs: Your Doctors Keep Sending Cases to You
Your doctors continue sending scans to your lab’s scanner portal, just as they do today. Connect that portal to Auto-Pilot, and the incoming cases become outsourced milling orders using your lab’s saved product choices.

Auto-Pilot uses the case prescription and your saved preferences to place the order. Your team can spend less time navigating an ordering portal and entering information already included with the scan.

During setup, choose the product and options you want for each restoration category, such as crowns or night guards.
- Select your preferred products and materials.
- Set a different material for anterior restorations if needed.
- Add standing instructions for each category.
- Review per-unit pricing, including the design fee.
Tooth numbers and shades come from the case itself. Your saved preferences supply the product choices, so you do not have to make the same selections for every order.

Auto-Pilot combines the day’s cases into one card charge at 10:00 PM Pacific. Cases are also consolidated into one shipment per day.
There is no subscription or monthly fee. You pay your normal per-case product pricing.
Shipping for the day’s combined orders follows these options:
- $99 or more: Free USPS Ground shipping.
- $299 or more: Free FedEx 2-Day shipping.
- Otherwise: Flat $12.95 FedEx 2-Day shipping.
Stay in Control of Your Workflow
Your self-service portal shows case history and totals. You can update connected scanners, product defaults, and notification preferences anytime.
You can also choose a daily summary email showing what arrived, what was ordered, and the totals.
If a card is declined, new orders pause. Held cases can be released after a working card is added.

Auto-Pilot supports 3Shape, DS Core, Medit Link, and DEXIS IS Connect. PandaCloud is rolling out, and iTero integration is in progress.
The initial setup takes about five minutes. Applications are then reviewed and activated with onboarding support.
